My Story
I'm Dawn Morrissey, and I’ve spent over two decades immersed in the cybersecurity world. I started by helping organizations meet the very first HIPAA deadlines, then went on to found and build Data Connectors into the most extensive cybersecurity event series in North America, with a community of over 800,000 cybersecurity professionals and a newsletter that still reaches more than 50,000 active followers today.
Over the years, I’ve listened to thousands of IT leaders, CISOs, and business owners share their challenges, and it became clear that most of them didn’t need more noise; they needed clear, trusted guidance.
That’s what DC Edge is about. It’s not another sales pitch. It’s a hands-on, no-fluff approach to helping small and mid-sized organizations make better security decisions, get insurance-ready, and reduce real risk, without wasting time or budget.
